1. Prevent flammable and explosive risks
Acetylene is extremely flammable and explosive (explosion limit 2.3%-82%), and a small leak can cause a fire or explosion.
Leak detection: Locate leak points such as welds and valves through high-sensitivity leak detectors (such as helium mass spectrometry or electrochemical sensors) to ensure that the leak rate ≤ 1×10⁻⁶ Pa·m³/s.
Real-time monitoring: The on-line acetylene detector can be linked to the ventilation system to trigger an emergency shut-off when the concentration exceeds the threshold (e.g., ≥10%LEL) to avoid gas accumulation.
2. Ensure the structural integrity of gas cylinders
Dissolved acetylene cylinders need to withstand high pressure (nominal pressure ≥ 3MPa), and defects in the cylinder body may lead to rupture or failure.
Withstand pressure test: The hydrostatic testing machine verifies the deformation resistance of the gas cylinder at 1.5 times the nominal pressure to ensure that there is no leakage or permanent deformation.
Non-destructive testing: ultrasonic and magnetic particle flaw detectors detect defects such as cracks and interlayers in bottles (with an accuracy of 0.1mm) to prevent fatigue fracture.
3. Compliance and standardization requirements
Periodic inspection: According to GB/T 11640-2021, CGA C-13-2009 and other standards, the tightness of gas cylinders, the performance of safety valves and the residual amount of acetone solvent are tested.
Qualification verification: The inspection agency must have provincial qualifications, and the equipment must meet the requirements of the "Special Equipment Manufacturing License".
4. Extend service life and environmental protection needs
Residual liquid treatment: special recovery device to process acetone solvent to avoid environmental pollution.
Maintenance management: Regularly calibrate the sensor and replace consumables (such as sealing rings) to ensure long-term reliability of the detection data
